HistoryTwo partners, Don Howell and Rod Fink, founded the company in 1969 as Acme Machine Products, in 1979, Don Howell retired and Rod Fink became sole owner. In, 1990, the corporate name was changed to Acme Cryogenics, which more clearly defined its products and the industry to which it was dedicated. Over the years the company adapted to the changing medical and industrial gas industry by adding engineering, design, fabricated systems and services, tank and trailer manufacturing and remanufacturing, valves and piping systems, gas blenders and distribution systems and medical gas services, systems and equipment.
